Photo Print (Gallery) FAQ
I photographed all of the models, backgrounds and many of the props you see in my art. Click here to see how I combine them to create the finished prints! Any digital props or special effects were done in Photoshop® or PhotoImpact®. No 3D programs were used. My "originals" are Photoshop® files, therefore I have no "original" art for sale. Some of my artwork I only show/sell at Conventions! You will not see these online. All of my photo prints are made in a professional photo lab. I use acid-free and/or buffered mats and mounting supplies for long-lasting, archival quality. All prints available at this time are limited edition prints. They are each hand-signed and numbered. |

Services FAQ
What if I don't live in Utah? Can I still send you photos to be worked on? Yes! Physical photos can either be send via your preferred mail service or, if you have a scanner, they can be scanned and then emailed or file transferred. If you have digital pictures to be worked on, you can email or file transfer these. Please contact me if you need help with this! If my completed photos are provided to me on a CD-ROM disc, can I have them printed traditionally? Most medium to high end photo developers can make prints from CD-ROM disks. For example, I upload my final images (personal, limited edition prints, etc) up to my developer's web site and they make prints in the requested size the same day. What are "copyright issues?" In this case, I am making sure that you understand up front that I may not be able to work on an image if you don't own the legal rights to that image. How can you fix things in my picture that were never there? Practice, practice, practice! The main software I use is Adobe Photoshop® CS2. It has a variety of useful tools that allow the user to do many amazing and wonderful things. :) Is there anything you can't do in Photoshop®? If you are skilled enough, not many. If you want something that seems impossible, email me to see. if it's possible. But be warned that the more difficult something is to do, the higher the price tag. However, it's possible that your "impossible" job isn't as hard as it seemed. What is "scan clean up?" No matter how hard one tries to remove it before scanning, there is almost always some dust on the piece once it's scanned. Whether this dust is noticeable depends on many factors, including the color(s) of the scanned image, how "busy" the image is, and how big the final image will be. For example, images to be used on the web rarely have visible dust, unless there are large sections of black or white. However, a scanned image that is to be printed as 11 x 14 will likely show some dust. Scan clean up also covers the repair of *minor* damage on the original photo. |
Misc information FAQ If I model for you, who owns the rights to art made from photos of me? I have models sign a photo release when I do a photo shoot. That means that the pictures I take and the resulting are my property. Special terms may be negotiated, depending on what it is you wish. Is there someplace I can see your gallery art in person? My art will appear in the Art Shows and Print Shops at various Fantasy and Sci-Fi Conventions around the United States. To see *which* ones, click here. Occasionally my art is shown at Utah fairs or other art venues. Please contact me if you live in Utah and wish to know where you can see my art in person. |
